  • Caleb Wasinger, Manhattan resident and employee at The Chef, decorates a gingerbread man in The Chef Tuesday night during the breakfest cafe's fourth "Gingerbread Decerating Party." Around seven dozen cookies were decorated, said owner Kevin Harris. The cookies were to be decorated for the Christmas tree that was inside the cafe. All the garlen around the place as well as the tree, which has 1600 light on it, are both real.

  • Employees and friends came in to work on a different type of food Tuesday night at The Chef Breakfest Cafe. Decorating gingerbread cookies in the shapes of Christmas ornaments was the reason for the attendence, but bonding as a company was what brought everyone together. Owner Kurstian Harris, Manhattan resident, says the employees and friends volunteered their time to help work on the decorations. The Chef has been decorating their restaurant for the past four years they've been open. "We're pretty festive," employee Jo Brown, Manhattan resident, said.
