Parks is now a renowened playwright and a Pulitzer Prize winner.
Lawrence "Larry" Moeder thanks Zelia Wiley, assistant dean for diversity and director of the diversity programs office in the College of Agriculture and K-State Research and Extension, after accepting the 2013 Wallace Kidd Memorial Diversity Award on February 13th in the Little Theatre in the K-State Student Union. Moeder is K-State's director of student financial assistance, director of admissions and assistant vice president for student life at K-State. "He's like a magician," said Sendrea Best, sophomore in animal sciences and industry.
