Hundreds of pounds of cardboard are dumped onto a conveyor belt at the K-State Recycling Center, which is operated by the Division of Facilities. They conveyor belt carries the material to the compactor, which compresses the cardboard into a neat cube, which will later be wrapped in plastic and shipped away to be recycled at Howie's.
