Bailey Myers, junior in secondary education biology, looks through a telescope pointed at the sun to see sun spots. The telescope was set up by Tracy Tuttle, undergrad lab director, and had a filter on it to not blind the person looking through it. Tuttle said if a filter was not on the telescope, the rays from the sun could catch something on fire in as little as a couple seconds.
