Daisy Rhodes, reservations corridnator at the dirctors office in the Union, learns from James Seymour, fire safty instructor, how to properly use a fire extinguisher at Tuesdays Fire Prevention Week. The events will be going on this whole week and are put on by the Manhattan Fire Department.

Associate Professor at Hale Library, Sara Kearns, has for six years been wanting to acheive genius status at The MacArthur Fellows Program, however, she has yet to win acceptance in to the fellowship. The MacArthur Fellows Program is designed to encourage creativity, innovation and dedication.
