ROTC students sing the Air Force song to celebrate the Air Force's 64th birthday in General Myers Hall Sept. 15. After the song, the students had cake and punch.

Adam Chinery, freshman in civil engineering, and Col. Roger C. Locher, cut the cake with a saber to celebrate the Air Force's 64th birthday Sept. 15. As per tradition, the oldest and youngest airmen present cut the cake together.

Bowen talks about his first career; he started out as submarine officer, then moved to NASA as a mission specialist. After a question was asked about being an astronaut, Bowen said, "We work. We get stuff done. We explore."
