Dr. James Michael Duncan from NASA headquarters office of international and interagency relations a former K-State student spoke a crowd of Engineers and Professors in Fielder Auditorium Friday afternoon about his work with Nasa on the Chilean Miner Rescue .
Every Friday the International Student Center hosts coffee talk, an event highlighting the food and culture of their homeland. Friday's coffee talk featured Emilie Guidez graduate student fro PhD in Chemistry. Emilie takes time to talk to an audience member Faith Roch, a retired K-State Dietetics and Nutrition professor, after her speech about some French cafe food.
Attendees of Coffee Hour lined up for the after presentation for a piece of Galette des Rois cake, a cake traditionally served in France on year's day.
