Marching towards the audience Quinton Church, portraying Alfred Doolittle sings With a Little Bit of Luck from My Fair Lady. Evan Tuttle and Rachel Hunt perform together during a dress rehearsal for My Fair Lady. Going into the role Evan felt that his maturity helped him understand the character of Henry Higgins more. Reflecting on his own experiences as an actor Tuttle said, "Coming back to [acting]...as an adult having lived, experienced real life...you are just a lot more open and sensitive to the subtext, the importance of every single word in the script, and the absolute joy of making theater with everyone involved." Alfred Doolittle, portrayed by Quinton Church, looks at a bug that he just picked off his body. Director Penny Culler says this segement came naturally, and the cast just continued to build off it. Kansas State Proffessor Andrew Smith practices in preparation for opening night during a dress rehearsal of My Fair Lady. "I think that as an actor, you look for reason to do what you are doing...this role has always been downplayed, and I'm really happy to play it."
