As the late afternoon sun hits the engineering complex, Shanon Robertson, sophomore in life sciences, waits for friends to join her before entering her Culture and Context in Leadership class. The course was designed to provide students with the opportunity to apply leadership skills to contemporary issues. Students studied materials that allowed them to analize the effect of culture on the concept of leadership individual development. ÒMy favorite part about the class was the group activities and discussions,Ó Robertson said. ÒIt helped open me up to new ideas.Ó

I saw this and it just popped. I knew I had to take this shot. I loved the lighting coming from the heavens illuminating this lonely girl on the bench. It just such a surreal moment.
